With his bourbon-soaked vocals, incendiary guitar style and mesmerising stage presence, John E Vistic is a towering figure on the live circuit in London as well as his home city of Bristol.
Inspired by legendary songwriters such as Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as guitar bands like The Drones, The Stooges, and Dinosaur Jr, John E Vistic's mission is to deliver "powerful and iconic rock 'n' roll songs with a raw and bleeding heart". Combining country, death rock, psychedelia, blues and punk, Vistic's live shows are highly-charged, raucous affairs and he returns to Bristol ahead of a UK and European tour.
There is plenty happening in Camp Vistic at the moment, with new EP Jupiter Goddam released soon and a new album out in October. The new full-length record, Welcome Down The Night, is being finished at the moment and it features cameos from members of Morcheeba, Primal Scream and the band of Black Crowes' guitarist, Mark Ford.
