The Jesus Bolt are Hazel Winter and Gerard Starkie.

After fleeting cameo appearances in Flux Capacitors videos as The Scarecrow, White Walker 1, and Lancel Lannister, Gerard Starkie has joined forces with Hazel Winter as ‘The Jesus Bolt'. The band was initially masterminded to promote the release of Hazel’s book of poetry ’I’m Scared Of The Pig On The City Farm‘ (due for release summer 2018). It has now rapidly transmogrified into a Proper Thing with songs and films and stuff. The first studio recordings will be out to coincide with the book launch in July.

CORMORANTS: Cormorants are Ellen Morgan and Wolfgang Küchler. Brought together by the harbour, we played our first gig in the spring of 2017. We carry a flame for old school new wave songs, we hope with a bit of punch. Songs about prams, being in the stocks, and a lot of counting.
Wolf plays a Sigma dreadnought put thro a valve amp, Ellen (“powerhouse”) her Les Paul or beautiful Hagström, to add colour and excitement. Both of us sing, in our own fashion.
