Chrissie speaks openly and frankly about her own mental health, as well as being an active advocate for raising awareness and breaking the taboo around the topic. ‘Shift’ magazine described Chrissie’s latest single ‘If Only I Could’ as ‘a beautifully written, poignant ballad that so gracefully discusses the hardship of depression and anxiety’. The song was written for a family member struggling with mental health issues, and through Chrissie’s campaign ‘Let’s Talk About It’, nearly £500 was raised for ‘Mind’ Mental Health Charity. ‘Tap The Feed’ also described the track as ‘a grandiose song with a meaningful message’. For Chrissie music has been her freedom of expression, eliciting her own truth, empathy and mental security. Through her music, Chrissie hopes to inspire others to feel openly and unashamedly, and grow stronger and happier in the process.

Influenced by the likes of Lianne la Havas, Joss Stone and Jessie Ware, and inspired and by the liberating acts of self-love, compassion and spreading happiness, Chrissie’s music spans from infectious, funk-filled sing-alongs, to melodic and relatable R&B ballads filled with soul and raw emotion.
