Shoun Shoun
Unflinching, atmospheric, minimal art garage rock channelling the spirit of Marlene Dietrich and Siouxie Sioux with a certain velvet elegance. Shoun Shoun’s expansive sound blends dream pop and art garage rock with the urban ennui of Dietrich and the Velvet Underground. The band's urgent grooves are laced with conspiratorial vocals and lysergic flurries of violin and synth. Bringing the songs to dramatic life are musicians whose collective CV includes Bristol greats like The Moonflowers, Big Joan, The Fantasy Orchestra and Chikinki. Their latest single ‘Stuck’ got aired on Radio 6 and by 20+ radio stations across the globe – from Canada to Belgium. Watch Stuck here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjV8vKArxnc
"They had me in the first 10 seconds on their new single Stuck…” Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6
“Annette’s vocal, semi-spoken, plays off against jaunty uptempo but spacious Alt Pop with shades of The Ting Tings in a jam with Sorry." Neil March, Trust The Doc Blog & Exile FM
"It’s fuzzy, poppy, punky and highly danceable, oozing with charisma and star-quality " Theresa’s Sound World

Kons
A four piece pulling from an eclectic combination of post-rock, heavy electronic and krautrock, blending huge synths with reverb drenched guitar and chopped up visuals. Expect anything from a warm ambient sound bath to dark, dystopian and thunderous.
