Frequency Cowboy is the pseudonym for Somerset-based multi-instrumentalist and singer Sam Hurt. A classically trained pianist, his sound is based around his Wurlitzer piano which creates the backbone for his distinctive sound.
Citing a wide array of influences ranging from Beck, Talking Heads and The Police, to Sir Was, Sonic Youth and Northern Soul, he is beaming his own brand of pop music from the City of Wells. He is joined in the band by multi Instrumentalist Rob Grist on Drums and vocals.
