Based in Leicester, in the heart of England, The Grateful Dudes have come together to play the music of The Grateful Dead in the spirit of adventure. Highly experienced in the European Dead scene, they have been playing these songs since the mid 80s in various line-ups and venues. With a large repertoire of songs to choose from, the band is able to offer a varied set which reflects the Grateful Dead’s long playing and recording career. We are a well-known and respected band among UK and European Grateful Dead enthusiasts. At a recent gig in Cockfosters, London, we even had three or four people there who had flown over from Boston (USA, not Lincolnshire!) specifically to see us. They certainly weren’t disappointed.

Recent gigs include the Trades Club  at Hebden Bridge, the Brooklyn Bowl, London, and the Half Moon in Putney, returning to Hebden Bridge later this month, followed by three days as main act at a festival in Germany. We are then headlining the Summer of Love (again) in early August followed by playing the Wharf, Tavistock later in the month.
