KIMBO NICE

Blending a mellow sound with laid-back bluesy chords, Bristol four-piece Kimbo Nice exude light-hearted and care-free energy that distinguishes their style. Inspired by Talking Heads, Viagra Boys and Modern Lovers, the four musicians – vocalist Ali Topan, guitarist James Wilkinson, bassist Oly Honess and drummer Taryn McDonnell – met in 2018 and started jamming together shortly after.

The wave pop band has quickly found success in Bristol: after headlining Rough Trade and supporting Winston Surfshirt at Thekla, they are now ready to perform for a wider UK audience. Having been featured in Spotify’s Hot New Bands and Fresh Finds and received support from BBC Music Introducing and magazines such as Lost and Found, Yuck and Clunk, Kimbo Nice are on the radar of the new music scene enthusiasts.

Try Me

Try Me are a disco-punk duo, exploding onto the Bristol scene with a contagious chemistry that has got the whole city grooving. The pair is formed of Hector Boogieman and Bendy Wendy - two free-spirits who indulge in a flamboyant silliness that infects your ears and your body. Their mischievous personalities combine with driving 90s beats to radiate an energy you can’t help but dance to.

We Are The Exclamation Marks

Sound like a punky Paul Simon - We Are The Exclamation Marks guarantee a live show full of energy and humour. Their songs are harmonically/lyrically risk taking without forgetting to be fun. Aiming to leave everything on the stage to be sure people leave happier than they arrived!

Shock Horror

Based in Bristol, Shock Horror are an art rock three-piece that thrive in blending shoegaze indie guitars with electronic textures. Our influences range from My Bloody Valentine to Pixies, Burial and Aphex Twin.

After two single releases and in preparation for our next project: ‘While Tokyo Sleeps / Is It Really That Bad?’, our collaborators already include American experimental pop band The Partly Because, drummer Noah Yorke, and lo-fi pop artist j.j.worley.
